Set on a picturesque 10-acre property in Portarlington on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, The Oxley Estate is a peaceful coastal retreat located directly opposite the Portarlington Golf Club and just 500 metres from the beach. With the Portarlington Ferry Dock nearby and the region’s best attractions within easy reach, it’s an ideal base for weekend escapes, family getaways, business stays, and special celebrations.
Owned and operated by Peter and Pauline, The Oxley Estate is the result of a lifelong passion for hospitality. Beginning their journey at a young age and managing hotels throughout Melbourne, they have always focused on delivering outstanding service alongside quality food, beverages, and accommodation. Ten years ago, they brought this experience to life in Portarlington, transforming the property into a unique agritourism destination offering luxury stays for couples, families, and business travellers.
Guests are invited to enjoy the full experience of the estate—home to friendly farm animals including donkeys, sheep, goats, alpacas, and chickens, as well as a vineyard, orchard, rose gardens, and olive grove. The property also features a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool, mini golf, a giant chess board, children’s play equipment, and additional recreational facilities including volleyball, basketball, and more—designed for memorable stays in every season.
In 2024, Peter and Pauline expanded the estate with the addition of a brand-new Event Centre set amongst the vineyard, alongside an extended plantings program of 2,800 new vines, introducing Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir alongside the existing Shiraz. With modern amenities and a beautiful setting, the Event Centre is designed to host weddings, private celebrations, conferences, and functions—allowing guests to celebrate and stay onsite in one unforgettable destination.
