About The Oxley Estate

Set on a picturesque 10-acre property in Portarlington on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, The Oxley Estate is a peaceful coastal retreat opposite Portarlington Golf Club and just 500 metres from the beach. With the Portarlington Ferry Dock nearby and the region’s attractions within easy reach, it’s an ideal destination for weekend escapes, family getaways, business stays and special celebrations.

Owned and operated by Peter and Pauline, The Oxley Estate grew from a lifelong passion for hospitality. Having started their careers at a young age and managed hotels throughout Melbourne, they have always been committed to warm, attentive service alongside quality food, beverages and accommodation. They brought that experience to Portarlington, transforming the property into a distinctive agritourism destination for couples, families and business travellers.

Guests can enjoy the full estate experience, with friendly farm animals including donkeys, sheep, goats and chickens, alongside a vineyard, orchard, rose gardens and olive grove. Facilities include a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool, mini golf, a giant chess board, children’s play equipment, volleyball, basketball and more — offering plenty to enjoy throughout the year.

In 2024, Peter and Pauline expanded the estate with a new Event Centre set among the vineyard and a planting program that introduced 2,800 new vines, including Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir alongside the existing Shiraz. Today, the Event Centre provides a beautiful setting for Bellarine Peninsula weddings, private celebrations, conferences and functions, with the added convenience of on-site accommodation.
